21st - St. Louis Perfectos at Lafayette Park, MO - Win/Win
"We started our season at the absolutely beautiful Lafayette Park in St. Louis, Mo. We were fortunate enough to win both games in what turned out to be a great contest between the two squads. "Sloppy" hit a howitzer into left field to drive in the winning runs in the bottom of the 7th inning giving us the first game. Hurler "Smurfette" let up only 4 runs in what was a nail bitter in the bottom of the 7th again. We appreciate the Perfectos for having us out and treating us so nicely. We look foward to hosting them later in the season."
28th - Mascoutah Blues at Mascoutah - Win/Win
"Great played game, alot of spirit, Huzzah!"

"It was a beautiful day for baseball!! The Juniors traveled to Murphysboro and played the Clarkes in the first game. It was a narrow victory and a hard fought game. Thanks to an eighth inning triple by Bernie "EZ Money" Bernhardt, the Juniors won the game 4-3. EZ hit one off the pavillion!! In the second game, the St. Louis Unions dealt the Juniors their first loss at 10-9. Juniors now stand at 7 wins and 1 loss. Next game in New Baden against the Mascoutah Blues and the Murphysboro Clarkes. See you at the park."
